El pan se pone en un platico situado en la parte superior izquierda respecto al bajo-plato o plato principal. En muchas ocasiones son de otro material como plata, cristal, porcelana, etc. Se debe colocar una blonda de hilo pequeña entre el pan y el plato de pan.
